How to be scammed

There are some sure-fire ways to ensure that you're a target for scammers. Here are some...

  • Jump at a deal that sounds fantastic - suspiciously fantastic - "maybe they're a newbie - I must take advantage of this!"

  • Don't bother to ask for references. "I'm sure it will turn out ok..."

  • Don't ask around about the trader. "They seem nice enough to me"

  • They give you a sob story - you fall for it "No one would make *that* up!" Oh yes they would.

  • Ignore posts at MLP boards - because they seem so "nice" to you.
