Trade carefully

Accidents do happen. Things go wrong occasionally even if both sides of a trade or sale are genuine. Here are some ways to make sure that, even if things go awry, it turns out ok in the end.

  • Always get proof of postage. I have learnt this the hard way. Packages *do* go missing. It helps in disputes if you can prove that you sent your end out.

  • If the ponies are valuable, insure them. Sure, it's a few extra dollars, but if they go missing, you'll be kicking yourself.

  • Remember that insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. If the ponies are valuable to you, ask for insurance.
