Try not to overbid!
It's sometimes hard not to get carried away with an auction - especially
if it's something that you really want - but you should never bid more than you can afford.
Think about how much you can afford to spend on the item. Take into consideration
how much it is worth.
You can search for completed items, and find out how much things have
sold for recently. This gives you a good idea of how much you should spend.
If you still aren't sure, ask for advice from a friend or on an MLP board.
(But, if you really really want the item - heck, go for it. We've all
overpaid in the past.)
