Posting and Packing Advice

  • Don't be afraid to send first if they are an established trader. However, you should only do this if they have a really good reputation.

  • Agree what class of postage you will use - priority, airmail, first, second class.

  • Pack your item well. As a minimum, you should use a padded envelope with extra bubble wrap to make sure the pony is secure. Fasten the package securely.

  • For more fragile items, such as some accessories, flutter wings, windy wings and MOC items, use a box with additional packaging to cushion the goods.

  • DO NOT BEND MOC ITEMS. (Yes, I know it sounds stupid, but it happens.)

  • Make sure the address is clear and legible. It's worth covering it in sellotape to ensure the ink doesn't run if it gets wet.

  • Make sure you put a return address on the package.

  • Get proof of postage. It doesn't cost anything, and it will prove you sent your end. Parcels can get lost sometimes.
