Scammer Spotting
How to spot a scammer:
- Deal seems too good to be true
- Deal seems too silly to be true
- Bad spelling, bad grammar
- Established people warn you off
- Can't/won't provide references - or seems insulted by the request
- or the references are all email addresses which are easy to obtain
(for example, Hotmail, Yahoo!)
- References are written in a similar style to the way that the trader
writes (yeah, 'cause they're the same person, dangit!)
