Florence Nightingale
Florence was a nurse in the Crimean War. She tended to the wounded ponies
in filthy conditions with few medical supplies. She would wander the wards
at night with her lamp, bringing comfort to the injured. She was known
as the 'Pony with the Lamp', and it was in honour of her that Hasbro named
one of their most treasured ponies, Nightlight.
