Ponies Through History (5)
American Independence
Americans decided that they wanted to be able to have their own ponies,
and so declared their independence from Britain.
This was generally a Good Thing, though it made the King of Britain very
cross indeed. This is known as the Madness of King George.

American Independence (2)
King George got so cross that he decided not to let the Americans become
independent. So he sent an army to tell them off.
A young boy called Paul Revere heard about this, and rode his pony as
fast as he could to warn the Americans. Firefly is descended from this
noble American pony.
